Job Skills / Requirements
We currently have part-time, weekend Security Officer opening in the Wendell area. This is a 12-hour shift with starting pay of $11.20 per hour. The post available is:
- Saturday and Sunday 7pm to 7am
Moderate computer skills required for report writing and documentation, to include Microsoft Excel and Word. Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred.
In this position you must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to perform (4) walking patrols on each 12 hours shift. When not performing patrols, this Officer will observe Close Circuit Cameras located in the Security Office.
In this position you will also monitor water, fire and other types of audible alarms that may be activated during the shift. You will ensure the security of all doors and gates. Provide excellent customer service to all in-coming phones calls and visitors. If any incident occurs during your shift you will be responsible for preparing reports for Management.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
