Job Title: Cargo Screening Specialist (J58-220)
Supervise air cargo screening operations in compliance with the guidelines set forth by TSA. Demonstrate and abide by Andy Frain Services Core Values and the operating principles set forth, while maintaining 100% compliance with all air cargo screening regulations.

JOB SUMMARY
: Supervise air cargo screeners and lead screeners assigned to a specific client location. Monitor the performance of all cargo screening functions related to the screening of cargo through the use and application of procedures, techniques, and technology. In addition, you will make independent, security-based decisions using intelligence, critical thinking, experience, observation, and customer and employee engagement. The Screening Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring screening activities for compliance. They will not be permitted to screen cargo.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Essential functions may vary depending on department size, organizational structure and/or geographic location.   • Conducting and supervising subordinate employees in conducting air cargo screening. Maintain compliance with all requirements of the Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program (IACSSP), Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP) and all other relevant regulatory policies.
  • Oversee screening operations on a day-to-day basis to include equipment, personnel, and the scheduling and rotation of personnel.
  • Participate in the development of new policies and procedures, and recommending changes in policy and procedures based on observation of work, as required.
  • Participate in the development of strategic planning initiatives, workforce planning, succession planning initiatives, and other reports and documents for management
  • Engage in continuous development of critical thinking skills necessary to mitigate security threats by identifying, evaluating, and applying appropriate situational options and approaches.
  • Prepare various types of communications such as morning briefings, screening logs, training records, reports, calibration records and documents that are germane to the work performed.
  • Develop incident information and reports for management.

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • US Citizen or lawful permanent resident, green card is acceptable
  • State Guard license, where required.
  • Willing to submit to a criminal background investigation
 
Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 50 lbs, stair climbing.
