IMMEDIATE OPENING for an unarmed security officer, serving a luxury Class-A Hotel in Sarasota, FL. We seek only motivated, responsible individuals with high personal standards. Ideal candidates have:

• a passion to serve and protect;
• strong attention to detail;
• a track record of stellar attendance, and

. want to join a healthy culture focused on support, teamwork and accountability

• Walk all guest floors
• Verify landing doors are secure
• Verify all guestroom doors are secure. Investigate if they are not
• Check all hallway lights- report any ENG issues
• Check for suspicious activity including noise levels, smoking, odors, etc.
• Walk Verify that Bell Closet & doors to FO BOH are secured
• Check that all key boxes are secure
• Secure Lobby Bar
• Walk EVOQ terrace – check for suspicious activity and cleanliness
• Walk Lobby bathrooms – check for cleanliness and suspicious activity
• Check all stairwells. Check for cleanliness & suspicious activity
• Ensure water hydrant is clear in case of emergency (no cars parked in front)
• Ensure employees are smoking in designated smoking area

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Security License issued by the State of North Carolina
